Monkey Shoes

I saw this pattern for baby shoes and had to make them! They are so cute! They are made from Brown Flannel and the lining is brown felt. You fuse the layers together using Wonderunder, which is really cool stuff. My first time using it. They turned out to be quite easy to make. I think the hardest thing was cutting out and handling the tiny pieces.

Plaid PJ Pants

I was given boxes, and I mean BOXES of fabric from a older lady Bryce did some work for. She was done sewing and gave me her whole stash. There was a bunch of different flannel plaids. I decided to make some pj pants out of it. For mine, I used some old flannel pj pants as a pattern. They were torn, so I cut them at the seams and cut out the pieces slightly bigger to allow for a seam and a new waistband on the new pants. I even used the elastic from the old pants for the new ones! For Clare's, I modified a pattern for some toddler pants that I've used before. That pattern, for some reason, seemed to be to tall and wide, so I cut the piece a bit smaller. They fit her perfectly! She loves them, because they're like mine! Super easy to make!!
